Fans Drag Arnold Schwarzenegger For 'Tone-Deaf' Video About Coronavirus

Just days after he made the world smile with his adorable PSA about the coronavirus, the actor has found himself in hot water.

His latest video is being criticized for being "tone-deaf." Keep reading to find out why!

Last week, Arnold Schwarzenegger went viral for his heartwarming PSA urging people to stay home amid the coronavirus.

In the video shared on March 15, the Terminator actor was joined by his pet donkey, Whiskey and his pet pony, Lulu.

"Stay at home as much as possible. Listen to the experts, ignore the morons (foreheads). We will get through this together," he captioned the clip.

It's been viewed more than 13 million times on Twitter!

As he fed Lulu and Whiskey some carrots, Arnold explained the importance of staying home to help flatten the curve of the pandemic.

"See, the important thing is that you stay at home, because there's a curfew now. No one is allowed out," he began.

"After you are 65, you are not allowed out of the house anymore in California. So we stay home and we eat here."

As Arnold is 72, he's in the risk group of the virus and truly *has* to stay home.

"We don't go out, we don't go to restaurants, we don't do anything like that anymore here."

Even the gym is out for the buff actor!

Thankfully, Arnold and his family have their many animals to keep them occupied in self-isolation.

His love for the animals led to the most adorable selfie EVER.

Fans loved it, too, plus his important message.

But now, Arnold's latest video about the coronavirus has fans saying that he missed the mark...

On March 18, he posted a video of him hanging in his hot tub with a cigar in hand.

"Stay. At. Home. That means you, too, spring breakers," he captioned the clip.

Once again, he urged people to stay home to help prevent spreading the deadly virus.

"Here I am at home, taking a jacuzzi, smoking a little stogie," he said.

"I just finished a bike ride and a little bit of workout, and I just keep staying at home, away from the crowds and away from outside."

"The reason why I'm [sharing] that is because I still see photographs and videos of people sitting in outside cafes all over the world, and hanging out in crowds."

He went on to warn those doing so: "That is not wise because that is how you can get the virus."

His message was mainly geared towards spring breakers who have been ignoring health advice.

Videos of them ignoring social distancing and gathering in huge crowds on the beach has gone viral.

Four students from the University of Tampa who traveled together for spring break have even tested positive for the coronavirus.

"Especially now at springtime, when all the kids are going to the beach to drink and celebrate...This is not a good idea," Arnold continued.

"Stay away from the crowds. Go home and then we can overcome this whole problem — this whole virus — in no time. But you've got to follow those orders," he urged.

While Arnold had a good message, it didn't go over well with fans who don't have the same luxuries as him.

It reminded them of the "Imagine" fiasco by celebs that got them severely roasted for singing a song instead of donating money.

Arnold's video has even been called "tone deaf."

"I’m tired of these [expletive] sending this message from the comfort of their spa with millions in the bank when so many of us are wondering if tomorrow will be the last day of our employment and the possibility of losing everything we’ve worked for is on the line," added another.

Some even called out Arnold for smoking a cigar in his video:

"Has anyone told him about tobacco?" wrote this user.

It's been found that quitting smoking could help your immune system to fight off the illness.

Not everyone found his video upsetting, though.

"ARNOLD IS WINNING THE QUARANTINE CONTENT AWARD," wrote another.

Regardless of his delivery, Arnold's message is an important one: stay home!
