Flamingo Ring Toss Is The Cutest Game Our Backyards Have Ever Seen

There are a lot of things that suck about social distancing, but one of those things is that the weather is only just starting to get better, and it seems like we have less ways to enjoy it now. I hate to say it, but patio szn might be taking the L this year.

This is why we have to get creative with outdoor activities! If we're going to be hunkered down for awhile, we cannot let the summer of 2020 go to waste. I, for one, refuse!

Whether or not you have a backyard, this flamingo ring toss game is one to try.

Sugar and Cloth

It takes that classic backyard game of our youth and turns it into the cutest activity I ever did see!

The necks of the flamingos are perfect for the ring to swing around.

We have blogger Ashley Rose from Sugar and Cloth to thank for the kitschy cute update.

The best part is that you only need a few materials, such as plastic flamingos with metal stakes, lightweight plastic rings, and spray paint in whatever colors you like to paint the rings.

You can simply stick the flamingos in the ground and get to tossing those rings, but if you want to take your game to the next level, you can stick the flamingos in pots filled with sand to secure them in place.

And honestly, that's it!

It's a pretty simple craft that packs a big punch for a simple outdoor activity.
