Andrew Lloyd Weber Is Streaming His Legendary Broadway Shows For Free Online

While Broadway itself has been temporarily shut down due to the current coronavirus pandemic, that doesn't mean you can't have access to some of the most legendary musicals ever created! And in a way, it's even better than Broadway, because this time it'll be free.

Legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber just announced a new show where his Broadway masterpieces will be streamed for free on YouTube.

"Universal have come up with the idea of a whole series called The Show Must Go On, which is about musicals going from stage to screen," Andrew announced in a YouTube video, where he explained the first few shows on the lineup.

They start today with an impressive opener.

Friday, April 3rd at 2 p.m. the channel will stream “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” starring Donny Osmond and will be available to watch on the platform for a full 48 hours.

Next week, it's 'Jesus Christ Superstar.'

This version stars Tim Minchin, the Spice Girls’ Melanie C and Chris Moyles and will also be available for 48 hours after the initial stream.

'Cats,' 'Phantom of the Opera,' and 'Evita' have not yet been announced, but it looks pretty likely we'll get a production of these shows as well.
