'Saturday Morning' Beer Is Brewed With Lucky Charms Marshmallows For A 'Nostalgically Ridiculous' Experience

Arguably the best slot for great television was Saturday morning. That is, at least from about the '60s to the '90s for children and their parents alike. This was a time many of us seriously took for granted. Sitting in front of the TV for hours the morning after the school week ended, still in our favorite Disney pjs , while cartoons like Batman, Superman, He-Man, Scooby Doo, Power Rangers, TMNT, and so much more played their reel.

As many of us nostalgically remember, these mornings weren't complete without our favorite sugary cereal, and one brewery in Virginia is giving a giant nod to the Saturday morning staple.

The folks over at Smartmouth Brewing Company in Norfolk, Virginia created a "nostalgically ridiculous" brew that will make Millennials race to the beer store.

It's called Saturday Morning and, as you can probably gather just from the label, it's inspired by a classic cereal enjoyed plenty in our youth (and maybe even still today), Lucky Charms.

The limited release beer is brewed with pounds upon pounds of both toasted and plain Lucky Charms marshmallows.

That sweet nostalgic flavor is then complemented by the citrusy and tropical hops that make it a pretty hoppy IPA.

The brew also gives cereal milk a run for its money at 6.6% ABV.

If the ingredients alone don't make all your favorite childhood memories flood back to your frontal lobe, then maybe the packaging will do the trick.

It's got the classic golden block lettering Lucky Charms has, along with updated marshmallow shapes to reflect everything needed to make the perfect nostalgic beer.

It seems this is a beer that you'll either love or hate, but it's definitely a fun one to give a try regardless!
