People Are Making Beautiful Flower Paintings Using Their Dogs' Paw Prints

I don't know about you, but I think of my dog as a work of art. A slobbery, sometimes smelly work of art, but a masterpiece nonetheless.

But now there's a way for me to create masterpieces with her help.

It all starts with dipping your dog's paws in paint.

You may think the last thing you want to do is dip your dog's paws in paint, for obvious reasons. But the results on this have the potential to be really pretty and very special.

You see, your dog's paw prints actually look like a flower.

They have those perfectly symmetrical toes that look a lot like the petals of a flower. Although admittedly, sometimes they don't smell as sweet.

It's up to you to complete the painting for the full floral effect.

You can make the painting as realistic or as abstract as you want. It really comes down to your creative spirit. And your dog's patience when you're taking their prints.

There's a very simple tutorial you can follow.

Check it out here. All you'll need is some water-based paint, paper, and a paint brush. Oh, and a dog, obviously.

Just don't @ me if your dog ends up getting painted paw prints all over your house.

As for me, I'll be waiting for a warm, sunny day so I can do this outside and clean off my dog's paws right away.
