Harry And Meghan Volunteer To Deliver Meals To 'Vulnerable Population' In LA

Amazing gestures of generosity and kindness can come from anywhere, even those who seem to be the most fortunate and privileged. In fact, it should be coming from them more often!

Harry and Meghan have proven that they're definitely willing to provide.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

Harry and Meghan recently moved to Los Angeles.

Previously when they'd announced their plans to step back from the Royal Family, they had intended to live in Canada, but after the Coronavirus pandemic began they moved to Meghan's home state.

The executive director of Project Angel Food, Richard Ayoub, has confirmed that the couple has volunteered to help deliver meals to those who need it.

“They told us they heard our drivers were overloaded and wanted to volunteer to lighten the drivers’ workload,” Ayoub told Entertainment Tonight.

"I am blown away that they chose us," he continued.

"They care about our vulnerable population. Our clients are most at risk to contract the coronavirus, having compromised immune systems including heart disease, lung disease, diabetes and most are over the age of 60.”

Harry and Meghan are of course following the social distancing guidelines and wearing the proper equipment while helping out, he confirmed as well.

What an amazing gesture from Harry and Meghan that I'm sure made a huge difference to the people they delivered meals to and to the charity that delivers them.

Great work!
