"My costars, friends, family, myself, in fact anyone I’m associated with has been subjected to personal slurs, shaming, abuse, death threats, stalking, sharing of private information and vile, false narrative."

"Stay safe and please be kind to yourself and each other," he finished.

"There's so much more to concern ourselves with right now. See you around.”

Fans rallied behind him immediately, clearly proving that he does have some true fans.

The hashtag #WeStandWithSam has gone viral.

Tons of Twitter accounts that follow *Outlander* specifically reached out to their followers to condone bullying.

Which is the right thing to do.

Hopefully, these people see how much they are hurting him and stop this insanity.

Our hearts go out to Sam, and we really hope his situation improves.
