Elon Musk And Grimes Explain The Meaning Behind Their Son's Name, X Æ A-12 Musk

Well, it's happened, Hollywood. The most bizarre celebrity baby name is here and it truly blows "Apple" and "Coco" outta the dang WATER!

As you may have heard by now, Tesla CEO Elon Musk and singer Grimes have welcomed their baby boy into the world.

Both are known for their eccentric ways, and they truly DID NOT disappoint!

Grimes had a very ~alternative~ pregnancy, to say the least.

The 32-year-old singer described her pregnancy as a "crazy sacrifice" in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine back in March.

"For a girl, it’s sacrificing your body and your freedom. It’s a pretty crazy sacrifice and only half of the population has to do it. It was really profound to me when I decided I was going to do it, to actually go through the act of, like, y’know, unprotected sex."

"I’m just like, I have sacrificed my power in this moment. I have, like, capitulated. And I have spent my whole life avoiding that situation," she explained.

On May 5th, Elon and Grimes' son X Æ A-12 Musk was born.

Naturally, the name took the internet for a WILD RIDE!

For the record, Elon has fathered six other children and they all have relatively normal names.

Elon and his ex-wfie Justine Wilson had six sons together during their eight year marriage.

Their first son, Nevada Alexander Musk, tragically died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at the age of 10 weeks.

The couple later had five sons through IVF – twins Griffin and Xavier, who were born in 2004, followed by triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, in 2006.

Now, about that X Æ A-12 name...

Grimes took to Twitter to attempt to explain the origin of her son's name and it was just as confusing as you would imagine.

A name that involves an elven spelling of Ai and metal rat? Iconic.

And as *watertight* as that explanation was, it apparently has its flaws! I know right?! I'm surprised too!

Twitter user "Weird" Al Jolson called the description "hilariously dumb" and then talked about a hat?

IDK y'all, I'm so confused!

However, I think the one thing we *all* understand is that the memes have been absolutely top notch!!!!

The poor bebe never stood a chance to not be Twitter teased for that name, lol.

If you're looking for a way to pass the time during these dark days, just do a quick Twitter search!

X Æ A-12 Musk sounds like a robot name, I hate to say it.

I think my main question is how does one even go about PRONOUNCING this? Is the A-12 silent? What does the Æ sound like?!

I mean, I guess the joke is truly on us because X Æ A-12 is gonna be *hella* rich one day.

Maybe the name is a teaser of a new Tesla model?!

Is it a preview into the future?!

WE NEED ANSWERS ELON!

Well, even if the name is whack, it's safe to say baby X Æ A-12 Musk is really, *really* cute!

I personally cannot wait to see what his nickname will be!

Hopefully something easy, like Bob!
