Dwayne Johnson Surprises Retired Teacher With Sweet Message

One retiring teacher just got the surprise of her life — and it's all thanks to Dwayne Johnson.

The Jumanji actor was asked to simply send an autograph, but if that was all he sent, then he wouldn't be The Rock.

This story is definitely one for the record books.

Dwayne Johnson may be the highest-paid actor in the world, but he's also incredibly down-to-earth.

For decades, the Juamji actor has proven himself to be a generous giver.

In 2017, he completely changed his plans just to take a photo with a crying fan.

"These lil' moments w/ fans will always be some of the best parts of fame," he wrote, hilariously adding that he told them that his Baywatch co-star, Zac Efron, hates his fans.

Then, in 2018, he gave back to someone very special to him: his father.

"My pops just had his hip replaced and called me and said 'Hey Mr. D the surgeon really feels like I should have a bigger car since my hip rehab..' I cut my dad off and just started laughing because I knew what he was hustling for," Dwayne shared on Instagram.

I said 'say no more..I got you.. just go down and pick out what you want'" then we hung up and hours later I get this pic. Lol."

In the end, his dad walked away with a brand-new Cadillac on his generous dime.

Um, can Dwayne be our son, too??

The latest example of The Rock giving back to his fans took place this week.

Carol Propst was an English teacher at Virginia High School. She recently retired after 39 long years!

She's also a diehard Dwayne Johnson fan, which is why her colleague issued out this tweet:

It's important to keep in mind that celebs get requests like this all the time.

Sometimes, they do oblige by doing things like going to prom with their fans. But for the most part, these requests go unnoticed.

Sure enough, though, Johnson saw the post and proceeded to give her the retiring teacher the biggest surprise of her life.

On Wednesday, she received a gift package and video message from the star.

Dreams really do come true!

"Today I received the ultimate retirement send-off: a personalized message from Dwayne @TheRock Johnson! Thanks to all my beloved students and colleagues. BVPS, YOU ROCK! #propstrocks," Propst shared on her own Twitter.

Her colleague, Noah Ashbrook, proceeded to share how the whole surprise came to be.

Turns out, the town's local news station even videoed the whole thing!

This retirement is definitely something Carol will never forget.

Later, Ashbook uploaded the video that Johnson made for Carol.

"Hey Carole, Dwayne Johnson here. I wanted to take a moment to say congratulations," Johnson began.

"Congratulations, Carole, for your retirement from Virginia High School after 39 amazing, incredible years. Wow!"

"Carol. Congratulations! I am so happy for you, and I am so proud of you," he continued. "And, being that this is teacher appreciation week, on behalf of all parents, Carole I say thank you."

"Thank you and thank all of your fellow teachers for your wisdom, for your love, for your care, for your discipline — which I needed a lot if you were my teacher."

"But thank you so much for educating and for caring for our kids," Johnson said.

But that wasn't all. Carol also received a gift package from the star that contained bottles of his tequila brand, Teremana Tequila.

He even told Propst that they would "share a shot together" one day!

Carol was clearly touched by the sweet gesture and wrote about it on Twitter.

Fans of The Rock also praised him for making the teacher's retirement that much sweeter.

"Proves @TheRock is a class act. @PropstMiss is completely awesome and completely deserving & @Mr_Ashbrook is a really cool, tenacious friend," one wrote on Twitter.

As promised, Ashbrook also recorded Propst's reaction to Dwayne's surprises.

"I read the note of course but when I saw the video, I could not even believe it was really happening," Propst told News 5.

"That was just the icing on the cake. It could not have been any better or any more wonderful or any more wonderful."

To top everything off, Johnson saw her reaction and wrote about it on Twitter.

"Awww I love seeing this. Her reaction is just beautiful. Things like this are the best part of fame. Congratulations Carol Propst and thank you for 39yrs of some of the most important work that can be done," he tweeted.
