All You Need Is A Bottle Of Rosé And A Freezer To Whip Up Boozy Rosé Slushies

Frosé slushies were the talk of the internet last summer. With this summer looking a little... different (hi, Coronavirus), we have to rethink how we're going to do our summer cocktail/patio hangouts.

Enter DIY Frosé slushies. They're delicious, refreshing, and yeah — you can make 'em at home.

So, what's a Frosé, anyway?

It's frozen rosé. No, really. That's about it! Think of it as the grown-up version of a 7-11 slushie.

There's a few different ways to make your own, depending on what you have on hand.

(Yes, this is a picture of frosé at Disney World. Go big or go home.)

One recipe is simple as can be.

The Haven List put out instructions you simply can't mess up! You'll need some rosé, a freezer, a freezer bag, some water, sugar, and some frozen strawberries for this one.

This is so smart.

The trick to the Haven List's recipe is in the actual freezing part. Rather than pouring the rosé mixture into ice cube trays, simply pour it into a freezer bag and wait for it to turn to slush!

PopSugar's recipe is even easier.

You can't mess this one up. Ready for what you need?

  1. Rosé.
  2. A freezer.
  3. Something to stick the rosé in while in the freezer.

And that's literally it. See? Idiot-proof.

There are tons of helpful tips on their site, too.

Including one that blew my mind — the wider the container, the thinner the pour, so the faster your wine will freeze. I know that should be a no-brainer, but I'm a little dumb, okay?

Check out their recipe here. Drink up!
