There's a reason we're seeing so many masks nowadays.

Research has shown that wearing masks can reduce the disease's spread by up to 75%, and so many retailers, such as Costco, have adopted policies requiring customers to wear masks while they're in the store.

And yet, many people have expressed resistance to such policies.

A video of a woman confronting grocery store workers about the store's mask policy recently went viral, and it may lead to a lawsuit.

In the video, a woman, who identifies herself as Shelley Lewis, tries to enter the Dana Point, California Gelson's Market.

However, she is told she won't be allowed to enter if not wearing a mask, due to the store's policy.

At that point, Lewis asks the worker at the door, who is seen wearing a mask, to speak with a manager, even after the worker offers her a mask so she can shop in compliance with the store's policy.

After the manager appears, he presents Lewis with another option.

She informs him that she has a medical condition that prevents her from wearing a mask, so he offers to do her shopping for her.

However, Lewis says that won't work for her because she's shopping for some "private items" and doesn't want to give the manager her credit card.

At that point, the manager has run out of options and only has one response left for Lewis.

He simply tells Lewis that she can't enter the store without a mask, at which point she says the store is discriminating against her.

She also states that she'll be filing a lawsuit, while demanding a business card so she can call Gelson's head office to complain.

When the manager leaves to grab her the card, Lewis and the door worker are left standing there. The worker isn't quite content to just stand around, however.

As they wait for the manager, the worker calmly starts wiping down carts, dancing as he does.

"You're pretty chipper," the angry Lewis says. "Why are you happy?"

The worker then tells her that he's just happy to be working after losing his bartending job due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Apparently, neither this explanation nor the employee's dancing itself goes over well with Lewis.

"Well good, I mean, I’m glad you guys think it’s OK to like infringe on people’s rights here," Lewis replies. "You’re infringing on people’s rights."

Lewis' video has been shared around on several social media platforms.

However, after receiving considerable backlash, she deleted her initial upload of the video to her Facebook account, as well as her Facebook account in general, according to Heavy.

The outlet also reported that, prior to deactivating her account, Lewis had shared numerous posts advocating against COVID-19 restrictions and had identified herself as a flat Earth "passionate truther."

People online have spoken out to praise the workers who calmly dealt with the entitled Lewis.

"Ah! The kind professionalism the staff showed her too was just A+ work from @gelsonsmarkets," this user wrote. "Why would she ever post this?"

Another added, "Thank you from preventing Shelley Lewis from entering your store in Dana Point, potentially infecting others and possibly spewing germs on groceries. Such people as this are entitled and thoughtless of others."

Of course, there were also plenty of people who expressed their love for the worker who busted a move in front of the furious Lewis.

"Ok but can we talk about my [man's] 'IDGAF' dance moves?" this user implored, "Dude is having a blast and I'm living for it. He realizes how lucky he is to be working and she can't STAND it."

Someone else chimed in, "She was even bothered that her ignorance didn’t faze him! You go shopping cart dancer!"

One person actually revealed they know the man who we see dancing in the video.

As the woman explained in her comment, she works with the unnamed man at a local restaurant and confirmed that he is the "coolest guy in the world, his actions are exactly what i’d expect from him."

Khary Penebaker, the Twitter user who posted the video, responded to the woman and wrote, "Please tell him I said thank you! I’d love to help him in anyway I can."
