Dog The Bounty Hunter Shares Emotional Tribute To Beth On Their Anniversary

After a loved one passes away, there are many tough days in the future that remind us of them. Birthdays, holidays, and special anniversaries can all trigger new waves of grief in us, no matter how long it has been since the person has passed.

Duane 'Dog' Chapman, known for his reality program Dog The Bounty Hunter and Dog's Most Wanted has shared his journey with grief with his fans.

Dog's wife, Beth Chapman, passed away in June of last year.

Beth had been diagnosed with stage four throat cancer the year before.

Dog was not afraid to share his grieving process with his fans, who also loved Beth. Beth and Dog had been married for 13 years and she appeared alongside him on his television programs.

On what would have been their 14th anniversary, Dog has shared an emotional tribute to his Instagram.

Alongside this sweet photograph of the couple, Dog wrote, "She said Big Daddy you're going to be so sad when I am not here on our next anniversary. Why did she have to be so right?"

Family, friends, and fans alike all reached out to offer Dog support and love on this difficult day.

His daughter-in-law, Jamie Chapman, commented saying, "Happy Anniversary! I know little momma is watching you from above!"

A fan added, "She is wrapping her arms around you today. Sending extra prays today, dog!" while another added, "She will always be in your heart."

"I am so sorry... I can't even imagine.. hugs and prayers Dog," a fan shared.
