We all know by now that you definitely should not be messing with Chrissy Teigen, ever. She's pretty much the internet's Queen of Clapbacks, and she takes her title seriously. Nobody is safe from her Twitter fingers, least of all her husband, musician John Legend.
Chrissy got a sneak peek at John's upcoming album, and some of the lyrics created an interesting reaction for her.
One thing we all love about Chrissy is that she's willing to put herself out there and defend what she believes in, like when she clapped back at a troll who felt the need to comment on Taylor Swift's fertility.
Like when someone tweeted at her saying John Legend looked "like a fool" at the Grammys this year and she was quick to snip back about their apparent lack of fashion sense.
But even John isn't safe from Chrissy's online wrath, as her reaction to new lyrics from his upcoming album reveal.
Chrissy started out on Twitter, as she normally does, by pointing out an issue she had with a lyric in John's new album. To be fair, I don't think anyone really wants to hear that there are other people waiting to take your place!
After pointing out that that's not quite what a punchline is, Chrissy made it clear that she was taking it all in good fun, and began playing up her jokey righteous anger much to the amusement of her fans.
Then, by posting clips of herself listening to the songs on her Instagram stories, she wrote that she was "currently leaking john’s album on my stories. out June 19th. or free when I get mad enough," which John didn't seem to have a problem with.
Even though Chrissy responded saying "Oh, this isn't free," she did continue to share clips of the songs on her social media.
Honestly, there are worse ways to have your album leaked than through Chrissy Teigen, so maybe John's playing a smart game here!
Chrissy said one of her favorites was a duet recorded with musician Jhené Aiko, and jokingly teased the pair "why don't u guys just get [expletive] married!!!" which lets us know it must be a pretty romantic love song.
Jhené joked back, saying that both her and John must have been singing to profess their love for Chrissy herself. Maybe John's the one who's got some competition after all!
It's not all been album anticipation for Chrissy lately.
She shared this video of herself getting tested for COVID-19, which caused a bit of a stir, but don't worry — she revealed that it's only a precaution for an upcoming surgery she's planning on having soon.
"Hi hi! So I posted myself getting a covid test on the twitter, as I’m getting surgery soon. A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out!" she wrote, in classic Chrissy fashion.
"I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat," she continued.
Honestly, we love Chrissy's honesty and sense of humor, and it's awesome to see so much of it on display all in one day!
