National Guardsmen Take A Knee In Response To Keke Palmer's Emotional Plea

She is going out of her way to make sure that everyone is doing everything that they possibly can.

Information about the ongoing protests in the U.S and around the world is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Keke Palmer is one of the many celebrities that are on the front lines of the protests that are happening globally in response to the murder of George Floyd.

She made an emotional plea to the National Guards, asking them to march alongside the protestors.

The video, of course, went viral, and people are watching it on repeat.

The guardsmen were armed and ready, and Keke stood her ground as she spoke to them, first referencing Trump and his recent speech.

"You have to pay attention to what's going on or else we have a president that's trying to incite a race war."

"The borders are closed. We can't leave. We have people here that need your help," she said.

"This is when y'all stand together with the community, with society, to stop the governmental oppression. Period. We need you, so march with us."

“March with us. March beside us. Get your people. March beside us. Let the revolution be televised."

"March beside us and show us that you’re here for us. Let’s just do it. We start marching and you march with us,"

"Make history with us please!"

One of the officer explains to her that he can't actually leave his post, but can walk part of the way.

"March with us, it will send a huge message," the Hustlers star asks. "You're the protector. ... If you're supposed to be patrolling us, then walk with us."

But the officer explalins again that he can't, and Palmer replies, "I’m at a loss."

They did, however, end up taking a knee at the plea of another protester, who was looking for solidarity from the National Guard.

However, you can clearly hear Palmer saying that that act alone is simply "not enough" for her.
