Fans Remember Prince On What Would Have Been His 62nd Birthday

It's hard to believe Prince passed away over four years ago, and today would have been the music legend's 62nd birthday.

What better time than now to remember this iconic musician and ground breaking artist? The list of Prince's accomplishment's could go on for this entire article, but let's take a stroll down memory name and honor this iconic performer.

Price, born Prince Roger Nelson in June 1958, had a career that spanned over FIVE decades!

Prince's debut album For You was released in 1978 on his 20th birthday.

According to the album notes, Prince wrote, produced, arranged, composed, and played all 27 instruments on the album, with the exception of the song"Soft and Wet", who Prince co-wrote the lyrics with Chris Moon.

Chris was the producer-songwriter-engineer that discovered him in Minneapolis. Who knows what would have happened if Prince was never discovered?! That's not a world I want to live in that's for dang sure!

On top of being an amazing musician, Prince is also an actor and film maker!

We've all seen and cried to *Purple Rain* at least once or twice.

But have you seen Under the Cherry Moon?! Now that's an outstanding Prince film if you haven't!

It's a whole new side of Prince!

Sadly, the world lost this multitalented artist and performer on April 21st, 2016.

It was later confirmed the beloved musician died of an accidental fentanyl overdose.
