'Ferris Bueller' Star Jennifer Grey Hit Fans In The Feels With Nostalgic Photos

This has been a big week for Ferris Bueller fans!

The cast of the iconic 1986 comedy reunited virtually this past Sunday for Josh Gad's YouTube series, Reunited Apart.

But fans had already been hit in the feels by Jennifer Grey when she shared a bunch of nostalgic behind-the-scenes photos.

You may need to take a day off after seeing these.

It's been almost 35 years since *Ferris Bueller's* day off hit theatres.

The iconic teenage comedy, which followed the story of a Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) doing whatever it took to skip one day of school, starred many big names.

In addition to Matthew Broderick, this included Alan Ruck (Cameron Frye), Mia Sara (Sloane Peterson), and Jennifer Grey (Jeanie Bueller).

Recently, the cast all reunited once again for the final episode of Josh Gad's YouTube series, Reunited Apart.

Since the series' start, the actor has brought together so many casts, including those from *Ghostbusters*, *Splash*, and *The Goonies*.

There was no day off allowed for the Ferris Bueller's Day Off reunion that took place this past Sunday.

The 45-minute virtual reunion kicked off with Josh getting Matthew to say Ferris' most iconic line.

"I'm not going to do it," the actor relented at first.

"I'm not going to say it," he said, which promoted Gad to say, "say what?"

"Life moves pretty fast if you don't stop and look around once and a while, you could miss it," Matthew finally said.

There were also many surprising revelations from the cast.

Jennifer Grey, for instance, revealed that she was quite the prankster.

"I had no one to hang out with because they were all playing all the time."

"So I was very much on my own," the *Dirty Dancing* star revealed.

The actress then recalled the time she disguised herself as an eager fan approaching her costars for autographs.

"John [Hughes] had security trailing me and saying, 'Keep her away from us,' and I just was going up to everyone to see if I could get into the movie as this autograph hound," she continued.

"I felt so left out!"

Aww, poor Jennifer! She clearly just wanted to fit in.

Ahead of the reunion, Grey shared some behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram.

The nostalgic photos featured several cast members including Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, and Richard Edson (the garage attendant).

Her Instagram caption featured the film's famous quote: "Life moves pretty fast. if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

In this first photo, Alan Ruck is hanging out with Matthew Broderick and the film's late director, John Hughes, who sadly passed away in 2009 at the age of 59.

Here's Ruck putting on the Detroit Red Wings jersey he wears in the film.

We really hope he still has this!

Or that it's framed in his house somewhere, the way Daryl Sabara from Spy Kids has done with one of his iconic costumes.

Grey even shared the outfit she would wear while pretending to be a crazy fan:

In the other photos that accompanied the post, she had a camera slung around her neck and a big, puffy jacket on.

She even got a photo of her posing with Richard Edson.

Grey shared several candid moments, like this kissing shot between her and Sara.

The Dirty Dancing star was clearly feeling nostalgic by these pics, as she added hashtags like "private stash," "slow down," "life moves pretty fast," and "simpler times."

It was fitting for Grey to include a black-and-white photo of the late Hughes.

That's because Gad made a beautiful tribute for the director in the virtual reunion.

He even took things one step further by getting stars from John's iconic movies to record themselves re-doing their iconic lines.

This included Molly Ringwald reprising her role from *Sixteen Candles* and Chevy Chase giving a great Clark Griswold speech.

This special tribute was praised by fans.

It was an amazing way to end the Reunited Apart series that the Frozen 2 star had started so many weeks ago.

Fans also loved the nostalic throwback photos from Jen, as one fan wrote, "That’s the best bunch of photos I’ve ever seen!"

How could they not??
