Kate Beckinsale Claps Back At Fan Who Asks: 'Why Do You Keep Dating Guys That Could Be Your Children'

Kate Beckinsale has had it with fans chiming in about her love life!

While she does have a history of dating men that are much younger than her, she has recently fired back at anybody that has a problem with it on social media, and to be completely honest, I am living for it.

You go, girl! Live your best life!

ICYMI, Kate Beckinsale has been quarantining with her boyfriend, Goody Grace, who is *literally* half her age.

Kate is 46 years old, and Goody is 23 years old.

It's a very interesting age difference between these two. But who are we to judge if they're happy?

However, it has sparked some controversy, because this isn't the first time that Kate has dated someone significantly younger than her. There has been a pattern!

For example, last March, Kate and Pete Davidson, 26, had a short-lived romance.

A photo of Pete and Kate making out, with tongue, at a Rangers game went viral at the time.

The 20-year age difference caught fans off-guard.

More power to them. But it's just was not a pair that we'd ever expect to see shamelessly playing tonsil hockey in public.

Apparently the two had hit it off at the Golden Globes after-party, and had been subsequently spotted on several dates together.

And instead of announcing their relationship in a formal way, they simply thought the act of PDA would get their point across.

Because nothing says "we're in a relationship" quite like making out passionately at a game, right?

Fans were very quick to criticize their 20-year age difference, but Pete made it clear from the get-go that their age gap wasn't going to pose an issue in their relationship.

"Apparently people have a crazy fascination with our age difference," he said at the time, "But it doesn't really bother us."

Even actor/comedian, David Spade, chimed in — commenting on a video of Kate holding a baby cheetah.

“You like them young! (Now don’t fight back and roast me just quietly stew and take the hit,)” he wrote on one of her Instagram posts.

But Kate wasn't shy about clapping back at his comment.

“@Davidspade never gonna happen grandpa,” she fired back.

Not long after, in an interview with *LA Times*, Kate finally opened up about her shiny new boyfriend, Pete.

She claimed to be "surprised" by the amount of public interest circling their budding romance.

"I’ve never been in this position before," she said.

"Never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief," she added.

She explained that she doesn't think it's appropriate for strangers to be this invested in her love life.

Preach, sis! This is your business and it stops THERE!

"I’d rather not have people hiding outside my house. It’s a little old fashioned to have a woman’s personal life [looked at like that]. It’s a little bit tired," she said.

Which, to be fair, I think we can all agree none of us would want our privacy compromised like that.

"I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it," she explained thoughtfully.

"If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not."

"If it became oppressive or upsetting, I would be very happy to let go of it," she said.

Anyway, evidently, Kate and Pete did not end up going the distance, and now Kate has a new, even younger boyfriend.

“Why do you keep dating guys that could be your children," someone commented on Instagram, to which Kate fiercely replied:

“Every relationship I have had has been solely to annoy you."

This is the best response ever.

“You need a man,” another follower commented (even though she HAS a man).

“Tell me why? To stop me sticking eyes on the cat? What if he liked eyes on the cat?" Kate shot back.

She was seriously not having ANY of it.

"What if I won’t stop? How will he help this situation," she concluded.

So, basically, Kate has had enough of people trying to leave their two cents about her relationships.

She likes younger guys, okay? Deal with it!

It's not the first time she has come out to talk about her annoyance with the public when it comes to her dating life.

In an interview with Women's Health, Kate opened up about her relationships with younger men.

"If everyone’s [expletive] on you, it can make you feel kind of ugh for a minute – especially if there’s really nothing wrong,’ she said.

"If you’re strangling a squirrel or hurting someone, I get it, but living one’s life in a reasonably respectful manner shouldn’t invite anyone to get too excited."

"It can feel like a little bit of a political act to be a woman over 32 who’s having any fun at all," she continued.

"I don’t mean doing drugs and drinking and partying, because I never am, but being goofy, and going out."

"It somehow seems to be risqué, which is just ridiculous to me," she said.

Good for you, Kate!
