Bring The Joy Of Patio Season Right To Your Home Thanks To The Travelling La Gloria Margarita Truck

As kids, we couldn't wait for the ice cream truck to stroll through the neighbourhood. Kids would lit-rah-lly scream and run out the door with some change in hand.

As adults, it's not that we're not excited about ice cream anymore, but there are just other treats that will make us run out the door faster than being late for work in the morning. And what would make us do that, you ask? Frozen margarita trucks.

"Adult ice cream trucks" are becoming a thing now due to the closures that have presented themselves in response to the pandemic, and we're not necessarily mad about it.

San Antonio's La Gloria restaurant is the latest to bring their famous margs right to communities.

La Gloria owner Chef Johnny Hernandez decked out a few trucks in hot pink to service neighborhoods in the San Antonio community.

The La Gloria Margarita Truck serves a little bit of everything for those who need to quickly satisfy their cravings.

They have tacos, chips and salsa, and queso, but most importantly, they have a mouthwatering lineup of their prized margaritas in 16-ounce cups.

Customers can also get larger margarita packs for around $42 that serve a (social distanced) crowd.

This is perfect for people who aren't comfortable to head out to bars and restaurants yet, or for people who would rather get their marg fix in their pjs.

Unfortunately, this particular truck only delivers to homes in the San Antonio, Texas area, but this is obviously great news if you're a San Antonian!

If you live in the San Antonio area, head to their Instagram page or Facebook to see when they're headed to your neighborhood next to you can put your order in online!

Here's to hoping mobile margarita trucks continue to be a thing even after the pandemic is over!
