Tom Hanks Says He Has 'No Respect' for People Not Wearing Masks: 'It's The Least You Can Do'

Tom Hanks is speaking out again in support for wearing face masks amidst the GLOBAL PANDEMIC we're still actively living in!

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

As you may recall, Tom and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive for COVID-19 back in March.

They were the first celebrity couple to come forward with their positive diagnosis and I think it's pretty safe to say their announcement was a big wake up call to many people!

Since his recovery, Tom has made it a priority to speak out about the importance of protecting yourself and those around you from this dangerous disease.

Last week, the 63-year-old expressed the importance of COVID-19 prevention during a press conference for his upcoming film, Greyhound.

"There’s really only three things we can do in order to get to tomorrow: Wear a mask, social distance, wash our hands," he insisted.

Now, Tom is speaking out again in an AP Entertainment video posted on the account's Twitter page.

Tom is TRULY not holding back, y'all.

"I don't get it. I simply do not get it. It's literally the least you can do," Tom scoffs.

"If anybody wants to build up an argument about doing the least they could do, I wouldn't trust them with a driver's license. I mean, when you drive a car you gotta obey speed limits, you gotta use your turn signal, [and] you gotta avoid hitting pedestrians. If you can't do those three things, then I get it, you shouldn't be driving a car."

He concludes: "If you can't wear a mask and wash your hands and social distance, I don't understand. I got no respect for you. I don't buy your argument."
