10+ Of Britney Spears' Most Memorable Moments

Britney Spears puts the capital M in Memorable Moments, that much is for sure.

For years, we have been captivated by her talent, insane stage presence, and relationships.

She's also made headlines for the moments she probably wishes we'd forget (that 2007 meltdown, anyone?).

For more of Britt, let's take a stroll through memory lane into 10+ of her most memorable moments.

1. When she joined the *The Mickey Mouse Club* in 1993:

The experience was extra special for the star since she had been rejected a few years earlier.

When she finally got on the show, she was joined by several familiar faces.

This included Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling.

"It was a really great time," she told Entertainment Tonight in 2018.

"It was probably one of the most special times in my life, The Mickey Mouse Club." It definitely went down in history!

2. When she released her "Hit Me Baby One More Time" video:

It's the song — and music video — that kicked off her career as a pop superstar.

Everything about the video was iconic: the dancing, her undeniable stage presence, and, of course, the risqué schoolgirl outfit.

3. When she danced around to her ex Justin Timberlake's music:

This just might top the all-denim outfit they wore to the 2001 American Music Awards...

Britney shared the video of herself dancing to Justin's single "Filthy" on April 15. She even acknowledged him in her caption.

"As you can see I’m not really dancing folks …… I’m just very bored. PS I know we had one of the world's biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey the man is a genius !!!! Great song JT !!!! Pssss if you KNOW WHAT'S GOOD !!!!!!"

If that didn't make fans feel nostalgic, Justin even reacted to the post, by leaving several hands-up and cry-laughing emojis.

4. When she wore that iconic red jumpsuit:

Britney was even the creative genius behind it.

"I want to be dancing on Mars … I want to be in a red jumpsuit. I want to have a really cute spaceman, but there can't be any rockets,'" she said.

But having her vision come true meant she had to fight for it.

According to the video's director Nigel Dick:

"There was another catsuit, actually, which was fantastic, which I loved, and the night before, I was told that Britney hired this guy that worked with Michael Jackson. And so we're going to use that [red] catsuit. So that's the catsuit."

5. When she and Justin Timberlake started dating:

It was a match made in pop star heaven when these two got together.

While they started out as friends during their Mickey Mouse Club Days, things later escalated to a romantic level in 1998.

Sadly, they broke up in 2002, with lots of cheating speculation on both sides.

“I remember when we decided we were going to go our separate ways, we sat down and I said to her, ‘If there’s ever a moment where you ever need me, you can rest assured that I will be there, because I love you as a person and I will always love you," Justin once said.

6. When she performed "I'm a Slave 4 U" at the 2001 MTV Awards:

When Britney performs, she comes to slay.

She did just that when she performed with a live python around her shoulders. It was an iconic moment that will go down in history.

7. When she got married for 55 hours:

This was to her childhood friend, Jason Alexander.

They decided to get married in Las Vegas at 5 a.m. on a Saturday in a $70 seven-minute ceremony at A Little White Wedding Chapel.

By that following Monday, the wedding was annulled.

8. When she married Kevin Federline:

As if her shotgun wedding wasn't shocking enough, she had a whirlwind romance with her backup dancer.

The pair got married in June 2004 and even had their own reality TV show together called Britney and Kevin: Chaotic.

I would never do something like that again," she told *The Telegraph in 2013* about the show.

MTV

"Actually, that was really bad. That was probably the worst thing I've done in my career," she said.

In 2006, the pair got a divorce. But they'll always be connected due to their two kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

9. When she thanked healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic:

Like many celebs during this difficult time, Britney has been giving back.

On April 11, she made this sweet shout-out, saying, "To all the workers who have put so much time and dedication into helping us during the coronavirus, I wanna say thank you. Your help and dedication means so much to all of us, and we love you."

10. When she made her comeback with that *Gimme More* performance:

This is a memorable moment that Britney probably wishes that she could forget.

Her highly-criticized performance followed a tumultuous year where she shaved her head and entered rehab. Poor girl.

11. When she made her first movie:

MTV

She starred alongside Zoe Saldana and Taryn Manning in the 2000 movie, Crossroads.

It was actually written by Grey's Anatomy creator, Shonda Rhimes. Naturally, it featured a few musical numbers, including "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet a Woman".

And despite what people may think of the film, she is very proud of the work she did on the movie.

Britney even defended it during an interview with The Telegraph.

When asked if she regrets her work in Crossroads, she shouted, "No! I like Crossroads! [expletive] you!"

12. When she famously locked lips with Madonna at the 2003 MTV VMAs:

It was a moment that no one will ever forget. Remember Justin's emotionless face right afterward? Priceless.

Plus, the kiss between her and Christina helped put some of those feud rumors to bed.

13. Any of her recent TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram videos:

Oops! She did it again. Britney's social media has been causing quite the stir lately.

Thanks to her random dancing videos and overexcited captions, fans are certain that she's in need of rescuing. They've even been searching for clues.
