Quotes For People Who Have No Time For Nonsense

After months of wearing paper face masks, I finally decided it was time to order a beautiful cloth one from an Etsy seller because masks are now mandatory where I live and I am here for it. So an upgrade was definitely necessary.

But although I, like most people, are more than willing to don a mask to keep everyone else around me as safe from the coronavirus as possible, there are still folks out there who flat-out refuse to do something as simple as cover half their face for a short period of time.

And to those people I say: what's your deal?

Seriously, you need to smarten up already because you're just letting down the rest of humanity now.

Yes, it's summertime and yes, partially covering your face in the heat can be a slightly uncomfortable experience.

But you know what's even worse than that? The pandemic. And unless you start masking up like the rest of us, you can expect that thing to just keep going and going and going and going.

Not a comfortable one, either. One with underwire that pokes out the side and sticks you every time you move your arm wrong; one that pulls down on your shoulders and makes you back and neck ache all day; a bra that itches you, scratches you, makes your boobs sweat and your poor ta-tas feel like they're trapped in a cage.

After all that's over with, I'm sure it won't feel like too much of a burden to put a simple face mask on.
