One of the universal truths in life is that one of your older relatives, at some point, are going to ask you to help them with newer technology. Eventually, it'll be you asking your younger relatives how to work a new phone or laptop or app, if that's not already happened to you.
Just because they're members of the royal family doesn't mean that it's any different for the Queen and for Princess Anne.
The Queen has kept herself busy over quarantine, whether it's making virtual appearances or daily horseback riding, as it was reported she's been taking part in. I don't know about you, but that's more exercise than I get!
As a surprise to the caregivers on the call, Queen Elizabeth joined a video conference to mark Carers Week — a week dedicated to supporting caregivers in the U.K. Unfortunately, like many of our older relatives, her daughter Princess Anne, 69, had to help her out with the technical side.
“Can you see everybody? You should have six people on your screen," Anne immediately hopped in with the important question, but her mom confirmed she could only see four.
“You don’t need me. You know what I look like,” Anne joked.
It's pretty cute, and it really reminds me of every time I try to get my grandma on FaceTime or help her figure out how her tablet works!
It turns out in some ways the royals really are just like us!
