After weeks of speculation, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has finally selected his running mate: Senator Kamala Harris. Two women have previously run as vice-presidential candidates: Sarah Palin in 2008, and Geraldine Ferraro in 1984. Neither was elected.
