A nine-year-old Oklahoma City boy patiently waiting to find his forever family has issued a simple, yet heartbreaking plea: "I hope one of y'all pick me."
In an interview with KFOR, Jordan admitted his dream of finding a place to call home, particularly now that his younger brother, Braison, has been adopted.
Back then, the boys were being kept in separate group homes, but were still able to see each other.
“Oh, we like to do anything together," Jordan said at the time, "like bake and karate."
He's currently living at a group home, but would love to one day have a loving family of his own.
“I would just like to have a family to call mom and dad or just mom or just dad. I don’t really care,” he told KFOR.
And if he were ever granted three wishes, he knows what those would be, too.
“To have a family, and family, family," he said. "Those are the only wishes I have."
But most of all, he admitted he wants the kind of unconditional love and support a family provides.
“The reason it’s important is because so I could have some people to talk to anytime I need to,” he said. “I hope one of y’all pick me.”
