She is also a mama bear of three lil' angels: 16-year-old son Ryder Russel, 9 year-old son Bingham "Bing" Hawn and 22-month-old daughter Rani Rose.

I don't have children but I do have a very high maintenance shih-poo puppy and I know how picky he can be with mealtime, so I can only imagine what it's like having three kids to please!

Now, Kate is revealing how she's getting all her children on the healthy food train!

Speaking with *People* Kate revealed her "old school" mealtime method.

When asked how she gets her kids to eat healthy foods, Kate replied: "How do I get them to eat healthy? I cook what they're eating. I'm a bit old school like that."

"If Bing really has a fit and can't do it, then I'll maybe cook him something separately, but they get what they get," she explained, adding that she has "too many kids" to make exceptions all the time.

I love that! As someone who grew up with a "you get what you get" type of family, I'm fully in support of this parenting technique!
