A problem that I'm sure most people don't have.

But this is Jane Fonda we're talking about!

She began by explaining that lately, she doesn't have much interest in dating.

“I don’t have time,” she said. “I am fully complete with me and my children and my grandchildren and my friends. I don’t want any more romance. I don’t have time for it.”

She recalled having difficulty making time for herself and her hobbies when she was married to Ted Turner without disrupting her relationship with him.

“You know, just about every day,” she said. “I’ll be in the middle of something and think, I would never have had time to do this or read this if I was trying to keep a relationship good.”

Nowdays, she admitted that she doesn't get hit by anyone anymore, but she finds that she is actually okay with it!

"Zero,” she said. But she clarified that this isn't a problem for her because she has a fulfilling life, with or without a man.

Preach, sis!

“No, and I’m not lonely. I’ve never been lonely. I’ve never been bored or lonely in my life.”

So, what does she do in her spare time? The same thing that a lot of women do.

“Read, and between the fact that I’m alone plus the covid, I’m discovering so much TV. I have a drawer full of vibrators,” she added. “It’s amazing.”

This topic eventually segued into Jane remembering the sexual partners that she could have had, but didn't.

"Who I do think about, and what is a great regret is Marvin Gaye," she confessed. "He wanted to and I didn’t. I was married to Tom."

"I was meeting a lot of performers to try to do concerts for Tom and the woman who was helping me do that introduced me to Marvin Gaye," she explained.

When asked if Marvin Gaye's pick-up line included the words "sexual healing," Jane replied: "I needed some but he didn’t say that, no."

"But then I read, apparently he had my picture on his refrigerator. I didn’t find that out until later, after he was dead."

That is so sweet and sad at the same time.

She also revealed that Ava Gardner was the sexiest woman she has ever encountered.

"Ava Gardner was the sexiest woman I ever met. Without question. She was a mensch, a true mensch, and she was a babe," she said.

Marlon Brando, on the other hand, did not impress Jane much. When asked about her thoughts on him, she replied: "Disappointing. But a great actor."

And last but not least, she recalled having a profound connection with Marilyn Monroe.

Two iconic women being friends? We love to see it!

"She liked me. I think she liked me because she sensed my insecurities and she was drawn to vulnerable things," she said.

"I’ll never forget a party that Lee Strasberg gave and she came late, and she walked in and men there started to shake."

"I mean, they were physically excited and agitated by the fact that she was there. And she walked straight to me and wanted to talk."

"She glowed! There was a glow coming out of her that was unbelievable!," she went on.

"It came from her skin and her hair and her being. I’ve never seen anything like it."

I would have loved to meet her, tbh.

Like I said, Jane Fonda has lived an extraordinary life, and she is clearly not done doing so.
