Divorce is never an easy thing to go through, especially not when you're a celebrity and millions of people see it as their place to chime in on your relationships.

Musicians like Kelly Clarkson, however, do have the added bonus of being able to express their feelings and emotions through song, which Kelly has teased is exactly what she's done on her upcoming album.

Kelly Clarkson was married to Brandon Blackstock since 2013.

The outlet also confirmed that Kelly had cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason she was filing.

While Kelly has been private about the situation, she has just teased in a new interview that her upcoming album will express how she feels about the divorce.

“This next record, this will probably be the most personal one I’ve ever released,” Kelly said.

“This year has been challenging, overwhelming &sometimes it feels like hope is lost BUT I have had the honor of meeting some incredible humans doing amazing things &keeping hope alive &I want 2 say THANK U.” Kelly tweeted.
