Jon Gosselin Responds To Child Abuse Allegations From 16-Year-Old Son Collin

In the publications exclusive article, they alleged the 43-year-old father of eight was currently under investigation after an incident resulting in Jon "punching and kicking" 16-year-old son Collin Gosselin.

However, Jon was reportedly not named as the alleged abuser in the documents.

Jon's other six children are living with his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin.

In response to the allegations, Kate told People, "You do not punch and kick your children."

"There is a child abuse law, PA 23, section 8i [that] states that doing any of the following, regardless of whether it causes injury, is child abuse, and first on that list is kicking. Period."

The allegations came after Collin accused his father of abuse in a now deleted Instagram post.

"My dad is a liar," Collin wrote, according to People.

Collin's post continued: "He then continued to kick me in the ribs after I was on the floor. He is a liar."

Earlier this year, Collin shared a heartfelt Mother's Day tribute to Jon's longtime girlfriend, Colleen Conrad.

The 16-year-old called Colleen "so much more than a mother to me, you are one of my guidelines and one of my guiding lights."

"As a mother, I am not going to sit quietly and idly by while my child, any of my children, is assaulted by anyone, let alone their own father."

"Do not return my child to an abuser’s home. Jon needs to be charged with a crime. If this were your child, would you feel okay with having it swept under the rug?"

"Jon has never abused Collin. No charges have been filed against him and there’s no ongoing CYS investigation," his rep told E! News.

There have been no further updates from Collin or Kate since Jon released his statement.
