'Dancing With The Stars' Fans Catch 'Awkward' Moment Between Carole Baskin And Tyra Banks

Guys, I'm here to remind you that Tiger King came out THIS year, not five years ago like it seems.

The names Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin have basically become household names at this point. It's not our world anymore baby, it's theirs. We're just living in it.

So when Carole got super awkward during her post-performance interview on Dancing with the Stars, I obviously had to do some investigative research.

For those of you who don't know, long-time DWTS host Tom Bergeron was fired earlier this summer.

It was then announced he was being replaced with Tyra Banks.

Monday night was the premiere episode and viewers can't stop talking about this one, super awkward moment between Tyra Banks and celebrity contestant, Carole Baskin.

Fans of Dancing with the Stars were already on the fence about the upcoming season due to the host change.

You may recall the SCANDAL that occurred after the news of Tom's departure broke.

And by departure, I mean...he was fired!

Back in July, Tom took to Twitter to announce the difficult news.

"Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It's been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I'm grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made," the 65-year-old announced.

He concluded, "That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?"

It was also announced that Tom's cohost and fellow bubbly personality, Erin Andrews, would also not be returning to the upcoming season.

Needless to say, Tyra has very big shoes to fill! And while I think she can totally rock it, others aren't so sure.

"I have never missed a season of dancing with the stars until now. But because you fired the best thing about DWTS Tom Bergeron and Erin, and replaced them with Tyra Banks who is such a narcissist, I will never watch the show again until Tom is back. Never," tweeted angry fan @shahwan_sandy.

To be fair, not all the feedback on Tyra's hosting skills were negative!

She did have her own very successful talk show in the early aughts and hosted America's Next Top Model for like a BILLION YEARS!

However, I personally believe Tyra's best television moment came on Monday night's episode of Dancing with the Stars!

Haven't we all imagined what it would be like to have a chat with Tiger King star Carole Baskin?

Oh, we haven't? Well good, 'cause it doesn't seem like it'd go super great!

After Carole performed her first dance to "Eye of the Tiger," Tyra asked Carole TWICE if she "tapped into her inner tiger" during her after-performance interview and Carole literally didn't respond and just stared back blankly.

Carole clearly looks overwhelmed and starstruck, tbh.

Regardless of the reasoning, fans cannot stop laughing at this _super uncomfy moment!

People could not stop tweeting about how insanely AWKWARD but hilarious it was.

Look, I know everyone was really upset about Tom Bergeron not coming back but if Tyra is going to give us more hilarious moments like this, I'm all for it!

I truly want my mind to be as blank as Carole's was up on that stage.

She went on to receive average scores from the judges, but it's clear that America is confused as to why Carole Baskin is even on the show to begin with.
