Taylor Hanson Receives Backlash After Announcing Wife Is Pregnant With Their 7th Child

If 2020 makes me want to say anything it's Mmmbop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop, Ba du bop, ba duba dop, Ba du, yeah-e-yeah!

Of course, those are the lyrics to the iconic '90s boy band Hanson's song "Mmmbop" which is arguably one of the best brother boy band songs of all TIME.

I'm looking at you, Jonas Brothers!

For those of you who are still keeping up with the Hanson brothers, you'd know that brother Taylor has been happily married to Natalie Anne Bryan since 2002.

If you follow either Taylor or Natalie on social media, you'd know the pair have a lot of sweet kiddos together!

In fact, the gorgeous Hanson couple have six children together!

The pair have four sons, 18-year-old Jordan Ezra; 14-year-old River Samuel; 11-year-old Viggo Moriah; and one-year-old Claude Indiana Emmanuel, as well as two daughters, 15-year-old Penelope Anne and eight-year-old Wilhelmina.

Back in 2017, Taylor opened up to *Today’s Parent* about the "innate ability [for] compromise" that comes with having a big family.

"[You] work with others and realize that the entire world doesn’t revolve around you," he explained.

"It also encourages you to be an individual because you can clearly see your differences from a brother or sister. I see that with my kids. They’re very different, but I see that they love and respect one another."

He continued: "You’re already included in a group. I see that with my 5-year-old, who is the fifth child. You can see it in her sense of confidence: She is so comfortable being in situations because she sees a lot of love and feels safe. She kind of looks around at the world and feels optimistic. In so many situations, she has somebody beside her that she trusts."

"It gives you the sense that you have an identity that’s connected to something bigger."

Now, these two lovebirds have announced they're expecting their seventh child together!

"biggest little surprise in a long time. baby number seven coming this December," Natalie wrote on her Instagram, while Taylor echoed her sentiments on his Instagram page, writing "The best kind of unexpected. Number seven coming this December #2020."

Unfortunately for the happy couple, their post began to be spammed with negative messages about the upcoming birth of their seventh child.

"Oh god, another one?! Jesus Christ [that's] excessive lol," commented user @nikkibalzzz.

"Yikes... the world is literally on fire but keep having kids... it’s a good idea..." agreed @jennnnnnnUnw.

"Just what the overpopulated world needs, more kids. Well good thing is at least they can hopefully afford it and aren't just doing it to be relevant," wrote @lovetosmile1970.

"7!!! Wow you guys don't have tv or anything??" joked @ i_am_fiorela182.

To say the comments were filled with *LOTS* of unsolicited advice would be an understatement.

Some fans were commenting that it wasn't "healthy" for Natalie to be pregnant so many times, while other asked why the couple hadn't considered adoption.

Thankfully, not all the comments were negative.

User @brooklynrose84 lightened the mood by commenting: "If Taylor Hanson was my husband I would have 7 kids too."

CAN I GET AN AMEN?!

In fact, a lot of fans began joking about the couple saying the pregnancy was "unexpected" 'cause.... ya know.... after SIX KIDS you'd think they'd know how this works!

"My inner 10 year old is now content knowing i should NOT have married a Hanson brother caz [I] could NOT have handled this lol....but im glad you can! Congrats to you both," joked @like.a.lion.i.will.survive.

It's clear that for every negative comment, there's one supporting this adorable couple, and ya know what?! WE LOVE TO SEE IT!
