An Australian man was recently treated to quite the bizarre sight after he happened to stumble across two canine pals sitting perfectly upright in side-by-side lawn chairs.
In a now-viral TikTok video, the man films the unusual scene and expresses genuine surprise at having spotted not one, but two dogs sitting in chairs like people.
"I'm looking out me window... and I'm thinking, 'What the f*** is that?'" he recalls to the camera. "'What the f*** is in this yard?'"
"Anyway," he continues, "I had a quick look... Check this fing s out!"
In a fenced-in backyard off to the side of the road, two dogs, a yellow Labrador and a dark brown pit bull, appear to be sitting perfectly upright together in a pair of side-by-side lawn chairs.
"That scared the f*** out of me," the man says.
"What are you two doing," he implores. "I don't know who you are or who you belong to, but why are you sitting on chairs like that?"
Unsurprisingly, the man receives no answer from the visibly relaxed dogs.
In the comment section, people can't get over this truly bizarre, and yet somehow also adorable, sight.
"I don't know what's funnier," one user wrote, "the dogs using the chairs, or the fact that their owner placed them there just for them!"
Another added, "Whatever they're doing, I know it's good."
