Anyone who watched the TLC hit show 19 Kids and Counting knows the Duggar family lives their life by a very strict set of rules.
However, as the Duggar children have grown up, they have been calling the shots in their own lives!
For some Duggar girls, this means wearing tank tops after being told to dress modestly all their lives. For others, it's enjoying an alcoholic beverage on date night after being told alcohol was against their religion.
The world has taken an interest in the deeply conservative Duggar family since their reality show first aired in 2008.
This means that dad Jim Bob must approve of all of his children's courtships.
If he doesn't approve of the relationship, there's no chance it's happening.
Speaking with The Today Show, Michelle said, "In your marriage, there will be times you’re going to be very exhausted. Your hubby comes home after a hard day’s work, you get the baby to bed, and he is going to be looking forward to that time with you. Be available."
Michelle believes that being available for her husband "has been such a lifesaver for our marriage!"
Fans will remember the total social media frenzy Jinger started after she posted an Instagram picture with her family (after moving to California) while rocking a TANK TOP and POSSIBLY JEANS!
Since that viral pic, the 26-year-old has continued to embrace her new style on social media.
While filming a video for her YouTube channel, Jill and her husband, Derick, opened up about a bunch of frequently asked questions!
One of the questions was in regards to some of Jill's latest wardrobe choices.
"I kind of always thought they were cute, but I think that some of the decisions that we’ve made … even if I liked something before, I wouldn’t have done it because maybe of the backlash that I would get or something … from people close to me or something."
Jill continued: "I think because of the journey we had already been on as a couple that I was more comfortable with decisions that we make as a family."
Good for Jill for making her own choices when it comes to her clothing!
