Toddler Befriends Skeleton Decoration And Refuses To Go Anywhere Without It

Many times in life, we see little kids who are very attached to a particular toy or item. For some kids, it's a stuffed animal or a baby blanket. For others, it may be a doll or a pacifier. Whatever the case may be, it's not unusual to see a toddler who just absolutely loves one of their items. Sometimes, it's even hard to get them to part with their beloved object.

As a child, my mom wouldn't get me to go anywhere without my "blanky."

The handmade baby blanket gifted to me as a child by my grandmother was something I took with me everywhere I went. All of my baby pictures have me holding it, dragging it, and sleeping with it.

It's only natural that, sometimes, kids become attached to things.

According to research, some children become attached to certain items and toys because they, "intuitively believe they possess a unique essence or life force."

Recently, one mom shared a video on TikTok that showcased her son was attached to something a bit out of the ordinary.

While the item is totally unconventional, the video and photos of the two together are definitely something that everyone needs to see. If anything, it'll cheer you up on a pretty awful day.

Abigail Brady shared a TikTok video showcasing her son and his favorite toy — a five-foot skeleton decoration.

No, her two-year-old doesn't love his teddy bear or his baby blanket. But, instead, he doesn't want to part with a five-foot-tall skeleton decoration for Halloween. Truly, it's a sight to see.

The friendship started off like any other...kind of.

Abigail shared with followers that her two-year-old, Theo, saw his new BFF when the two went into the basement to investigate a plumbing issue in the house.

Theo saw the old Halloween decoration in the basement and was starstruck by it.

The mom shared that the skeleton, which has since been named "Benny," was of immediate interest to Theo. He just wanted to go over and play with it!

Apparently, when they were going to leave the house to go play, Theo refused to go without "Benny."

"He refused to get in the car, just flat-out refused. So I was like, ‘I’ll bring it in the car, it’s not that big of a deal," she said in her TikTok video.

From there, a new friendship was born. Benny began to go everywhere with little Theo.

The two became BFF's overnight. And, Abigail has no problem letting Theo take Benny with him on all of his journeys.

“It’s funny to see him put food in Benny’s mouth and it just drops down through his ribs. Theo thinks it’s so funny," she said.

People on TikTok absolutely love it, and praise Abigail for being such a good mom.

Many moms commented on Abigail's TikTok video, praising her for being such a good mom and allowing Theo to play with any toy that he wants. It's truly a fun and beautiful thing!
