Kristin Cavallari Claps Back After Getting Mom-Shamed For Posting A Topless Photo

Mommy-shaming is a big deal on the Internet. Most people have an idea of what they believe is the right way to parent, and they're not afraid to share that opinion as loudly or as forcefully as they see fit.

Kristin Cavallari is one of the latest celebrities to be scrutinized by mom-shamers after sharing a risqué photo of herself to Instagram.

Kristin Cavallari is a familiar face to anyone who watched *Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.*

The reality star, fashion designer, and actress also had a show of her own called Very Cavallari, but these days, her Instagram bio only lists one profession: Momma. Kristin is a mom to three children, a fact that was brought up in the comments of a recent Instagram post quite frequently.

Kristin recently shared a photo of herself wearing only the bottoms of a bikini to Instagram. While she wasn't facing the camera, people in the comments had a lot to say.

“Perhaps spend more time being a mom rather than showing your naked self,” one person commented on the post, while another added, "Is this appropriate for a mom of 3? Just asking for a friend..."

Kristin has made it clear she has no time for the haters.

"I don't read my comments but a lot of people were like, 'You got mommy-shamed' and whatnot,"

"I just don't understand. When you become a mom, it doesn't mean we have to crawl into a cave and hide out for the rest of our lives," she said about the photo in a new interview with Access.

"A mom is a large part of who I am but it's not all of who I am," Kristin continued.

"I literally worked my ass off for that photoshoot," Kristin said, adding, "I feel really good right now, so I just thought, 'why not?'"

What do you think? Should the mom-shamers mind their own business, or do they have a point? Let us know your opinion in the comments.
