10+ Random Facts About Emma Stone Fans Didn't Know

Easy A, La La Land, Crazy, Stupid Love, Zombieland, and The Amazing Spider-Man star, Emma Stone, has been on our Hollywood radars for quite some time. She has really made a lasting impression on her fans. But there is still so much about her that they don't know.

Here are some random facts about Emma that you probably weren't aware of!

1. Her voice is hoarse from screaming too much as a baby.

"I had colic from zero to six months. My mom dealt with a screaming baby 24 hours a day for the first six months of my life – I screamed myself hoarse every day and developed nodules as an infant," she told Now Toronto.

"So I have calluses on my vocal cords, which makes me lose my voice all the time and makes doing something like screaming in a scene, over and over, really rough, because then I lose my voice for, like, a week," she added.

"So I’m always trying to be pretty protective of it, but, yeah – I’ve sounded like this since I was a kid."

2. She regrets some old beauty fads that she participated in.

Like many of us, Emma has some regrets about old beauty trends that she may have dabbled in.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, she revealed that she's glad she is passed the acrylic-nails-spray-tan-black-eyeshadow-phase of her life.

"I wear mascara most days, but I do put on a little makeup every day because it helps me feel put together. But yeah, mascara is essential," she told Cosmopolitan.

"Revlon's Lash Potion by Grow Luscious—it's magic [laughs]! I swipe it on both my top and bottom lashes."

5. Comedy is her favorite movie genre.

"I started acting because I wanted to do comedy. Comedy in my heart has always come very naturally to me because since I was very young I've been in touch with the sadness of life and I think when you've known sadness for a long time you want to go towards the light. So I wanted comedy in my life and I still do," she told Female First.

6. She took ballroom dance training for a film.

"We were learning to tap and ballroom dance from scratch, basically. It is hard, but I love dancing."

7. She can't imagine her life without Ryan Gosling.

Ever since Crazy, Stupid, Love, Emma and Ryan have been stuck to the hip!

"There’s so much going on and no one really cares about the film business or talks about it. L.A. is pretty much geared around the movie industry, and, wherever you go, you tend to see people who are in the business or talking about it. When I’m in New York, I feel a little freer and less self-conscious about being an actress," she told Savour Flair.

"I’m not a fitness freak. I don’t like doing weights and I don’t like running, because it’s bad for your knees," she told Savour Flair.

"I can easily spend a few months without working out until I have a film coming up and I might want to drop a few pounds."

"When I was filming ‘The Help’, the southern cooking was so delicious that I couldn’t help myself and gained a few pounds. The costume fitter had to adjust some of my clothes," she continued.

"I’m not worried about looking like a model or always trying to look perfect. I try to eat healthy foods, get enough sleep, and go swimming when I can. That’s my fitness regime."
