10+ Extremely Unfortunate Construction Jobs

Working in construction can be a hard job. I've known my share of a few construction workers who can definitely attest to that fact.

There are early morning hours and often overtime. So, it's no wonder some workers can resort to cutting corners. I'm not condoning that at all. I just thought I'd share those unfortunate times construction jobs really sucked.

1. This Guy Who's Trapped

OMG, talk about being trapped on the job. What in the heck was this guy even doing there? Can somebody tell me because I'm pretty confused here? Maybe he's just in a time-out, ha, ha!

Hmm, I don't think this is the safest bathtub I've seen around. I think somebody totally screwed up here. Either that or they think the homeowners have a death wish or something. I would stay away from this if I were you.

3. This Entrance

Um, why would anybody put in a pipe that completely obstructs this house's entrance is beyond me. I bet the people who live here have a lot of fun climbing over this every day. I'm being sarcastic, of course.

Raise your hand if you have work friends like these? If you do you're truly lucky, ha, ha! I dunno if I would ever go this far for someone but this is really sweet, I gotta say.

5. This Bike Lane

I honestly don't know if this bike lane is the fault of a construction crew or the city. I mean, they told them to put it there, right? Oh, the dilemma they must've faced here, ha, ha!

6. This Simple Fix

Why do a good job when you can do it half-assed? Am I right? It looks to me that someone would rather take a longer lunch break than do the work properly. Yeah, this will definitely hold...

Somehow I don't think this is what the homeowners had in mind when they asked for a room with a view. I wouldn't be surprised if they were royally pissed to see this instead. I would be too.

8. This Structure

Who needs structural integrity anyway? Am I right? If this building doesn't collapse one day I would be really surprised. I hope before that happens somebody goes down there to check it out. Let's keep our fingers crossed until then.

"They asked for a balcony so I gave it to them, boss."

Um, no this isn't exactly how balconies work. If you don't know that, you're a lot worse off than I thought you were. This is making me laugh, though.

If an electrical shock is what you're looking for I think you have found it here. Otherwise, I would steer clear of this if I were you. This is not the kind of day I was imagining.

These guys definitely get an A+ for teamwork. Heck, at least if they go down, they go down together, lol. Anyone else getting anxious looking at this photo?

12. This Scaffolding

It's better to be safe than sorry, right? Even though they must've used a lot of materials for this scaffolding, I still don't trust that it's stable. I must say I wouldn't walk underneath it even if you paid me.

13. This Asphalt

I've seen some cruddy asphalting jobs but these two take the cake. I dunno where this was done but I really don't think this shoddy job would fly where I live. Have fun driving on this road.

At least you're not stuck doing what these guys are doing. Am I right? This is probably going to put off many of you from doing any construction work, huh?
