Whoopi Goldberg Reveals That 'Sister Act 3' Is In The Works
The *Sister Act* movies are classics.
The films, starring Whoopi Goldberg, follow Deloris Wilson as an unlikely nun after being placed in a convent for witness protection who turns the choir into something really special.
They're funny, heartwarming, and have some great music, so there's nothing not to love!
In a new interview, Whoopi has given hope to all of those who are waiting for a *Sister Act 3*.
Whoopi told James Corden that renewed interest in a third film could help it happen. "For a long time, they kept saying no one wanted to see it. And then quite recently, it turns out, that that may not be true. People may want to see it," Whoopi said.
"So we're working diligently to try to figure out how to get the gang together and come back," she went on.
"It's fun and it feels good. And you know, nobody's mad. It's just, listen—bad singing, great singing, okay singing and then nuns. What's better than that?" she laughed.
I have to say that I agree with her — we need a new Sister Act movie now more than ever!
