Tyra Banks Reveals a 'Coyote Ugly' Reboot Is In The Works

In all the news about reboots, remakes, prequels, and sequels, it can sometimes be easy to miss when a new announcement comes out that is truly exciting. For fans of the cult hit Coyote Ugly, there's no missing what star Tyra Banks just revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show about the future of the film franchise and where it's going next.

*Coyote Ugly* was a huge cult hit after its release in 2000 and it's easy to see why.

The film, which is a musical comedy/drama is hilarious, fun to watch, and full of great music. The movie follows small town girl Violet as she begins to work at a trendy bar called Coyote Ugly while wanting to pursue a music career.

Tyra Banks, who played one of the Coyotes at the bar, recently gave fans of the movie some good news.

In a new interview with Kelly Clarkson, the topic of the smash hit came up, and Tyra revealed, "I literally was supposed to be on a conference call today about bringing Coyote Ugly back."

Tyra revealed she was supposed to be on a call with one of the other stars of the movie, Maria Bello.

"Yeah, so Maria Bello, one of the stars of Coyote Ugly, we were supposed to be on a call today and I'm talking to you and I can't talk to them!" Tyra teased Kelly, but added, "It's fine because I'm talking to them right now."

Fans of the movie are obviously excited.
