Donny Osmond Celebrates Sister Marie's Birthday With Sweet Tribute
*Donny & Marie* was one of the best shows of the '70s.
The variety show, hosted by brother and sister Donny and Marie Osmond, was funny, sweet, and full of great music, just like the lives of all of The Osmonds. At the time, Donny and Marie (18 and 16 years old respectively) were the youngest people in TV history to host their own variety show.
The show ran from 1975 to 1979.
The duo also continued on in Las Vegas, teaming up for a residency that lasted eleven years up until November of 2019.
It's been a long time since Donny & Marie was on the air, but it's clear that family is still incredibly important to them!
Marie celebrated her 61st birthday on October 13th, and of course Donny had to share a sweet tribute to her online.
"Charming, hilarious, clever, intelligent -- but enough about me..." Donny joked, but quickly added, "Happy birthday to my dear sister and partner in crime, Marie!"
Sounds like no matter how famous they are, siblings always act the same!
"I love you sis," Donny wrote.
"Enjoy your special day to the fullest!" he wrote, attaching a picture of the two of them in their younger days.
We love to see these two still have all the charm and humor that we fell in love with!
