It should come as no surprise to anyone who knows me, but I'm not what you would call a "people person". In fact, if I'm being honest, I don't care much for people at all.

When I was younger, I thought it was just because I was shy. But now that I'm older, and arguably just a little bit wiser, I've figured out that I'm not shy. I just don't like most people, and I really don't have any patience for them, so I don't feel a real need to talk or interact with them if I can avoid it.

Honestly, I don't think anyone who's ever said "Oh, I didn't get your text!" has actually never gotten a text before. Those are usually the people who are glued to their phones 24/7.
