10+ B-List Celebrities Who Should Be On The A-List

Being successful in Hollywood requires one thing above all else — patience. Sometimes, as hard as it can be, you have to wait for your turn and let fame come to you.

Well, I say to heck with that! Patience is for the birds.

I say the squeaky wheel gets the grease. It's with that mindset that I've compiled these 10+ B-List celebrities who should be on the A-List.

Chloë Grace Moretz

Chloë is a modern-day scream Queen. She's a powerful young actress with incredible range and dramatic depth.

If DC ever pulls it together and makes a Bat Girl movie, Chloë would be on my shortlist for the role of Barbara Gordon.

Michael B. Jordan

Michael B. Jordan is well on his way to the top of the Hollywood heap. His portrayal of Erik Killmonger in Black Panther is just the very tip of the iceberg.

He will be the next Superman in the DCU. You heard it here first.

Karl Urban

Don't worry Karl, your days on the B-List are numbered! Karl is a true Hollywood chameleon; a character actor without peer or equal.

He's shown his mettle through two seasons of The Boys. Given the chance, Karl could easily be a leading man.

Djimon Hounsou

This needs to be said: Djimon Hounsou was robbed at the 2007 Academy Awards. I love Alan Arkin as much as the next guy, and yes Little Miss Sunshine was a great movie.

But Djimon's work in Blood Diamond is one of the greatest performances of this century.

Saoirse Ronan

Saorise Ronan is perhaps the most deserving of praise of any actor on this list. So far in her young career, Saorise's received four Oscar nominations for Best Actress.

All before the age of 30, I should add.

Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick is hilarious. Don't let anyone try and tell you anything different. Her latest series Dummy on Quibi will have you rolling with laughter.

Unfortunately, since the platform appears to be going under, not many people will get a chance to see it.

Alexandra Daddario

Alexandra Daddario has a piercing stare that looks as if it could peer into your very soul. Her electric blue eyes are but a window into her prowess and power as an actress.

She's incredibly underrated and packed with limitless potential.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Is there anything that Joseph Gordon-Levitt can't do? He's a Hollywood Renaissance man with incredible range.

Joe understands the spectrum of human emotion better than anyone.

He's just as formidable as a comedian as he is a dramatic actor.

Emmy Rossum

The fact that Emmy Rossum didn't receive a single Emmy or Golden Globe nomination for her work on Shameless is a travesty.

If you think that Hollywood isn't still patriarchal or that it doesn't take issue with female nudity — think again.

Timothée Chalamet

I'm riding the T-train all the way into the station! In my mind, Timothée has it in him to be the next Johnny Depp or even Daniel Day-Lewis.

His inherent stoicism is enthralling, you just can't take your eyes off him whenever he's on-screen.

Rachel Brosnahan

One of the great orators of our age, Christopher Hitchens, once wrote an essay titled "Why Women Aren't Funny." Sadly, he tragically passed before ever having an opportunity to meet The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel's Rachel Brosnahan.

Had he done that, he would have crumpled up that paper and thrown it away in the trash.

Idris Elba

Yes, everyone knows that Idris was incredible in Beasts of No Nation.

But if you haven't seen him as Charles Miner in The Office, or the short-tempered homicide detective in Luther — you don't know what you're missing.

Jensen Ackles

It's happening — it's finally happening! After years of patiently waiting, the world is finally going to see all that Jensen Ackles is truly capable of.

Don't miss him as Soldier Boy in The Boys forthcoming third season. A-List, here we come!

Charlie Hunnam

FX

Charlie Hunnam has come so far, yet always seems just out of arm's reach of the Hollywood A-List. All that Charlie needs is the right film to fall in his lap.

Like Green Arrow, for example. Stop fighting it, Charlie!

Nicolas Cage

I can already feel the heat radiating from this one. These days Nic Cage finds himself firmly on the B-List but it wasn't always so.

He may be eccentric, but he's still one of the greatest living actors working today. Watch Raising Arizona and tell me I'm wrong.
