Cleaning Quotes For People Who Know A Broom Just Isn't Going To Cut It

Right now, I have a "to do" list that's longer than my "already done" list, and if I'm being honest, that's kind of starting to bum me out. It's also really making me want to put off cleaning for as long as possible.

Eventually I'll roll up my sleeves and get to work. But until then, I'm fine ignoring the mess. Or simply figuring out a way to cut every single corner so the job is over even faster. Hey, my mom doesn't live here — it's fine if I just sweep the dirt under the rug for now.

If your cleaning style sounds similar to mine, then I think you're really going to enjoy these quotes!

She's just running a little late.

I would love to know if she's also the person who's supposed to do laundry or is that a different fairy altogether? And is there one who will cook dinner every night this week?

Honestly, I just need a whole fleet of fairy helpers.

Speaking of laundry...

There is no "laundry day" for me. That chore lasts me an entire week, and then it never really truly ends, because I just keep pulling clean clothes from the pile to wear, and then they're all dirty again.

So I have to wash them again, and the cycle repeats.

"It could definitely be worse!"

I find comfort in knowing I can at least walk through my house, unlike those poor people who have to trudge through 20-year-old newspapers and trinkets to even just reach the refrigerator.

You have to count your blessings.

Still counts.

Who needs to do laundry when there are candles that literally smell like fabric softener?

That's my philosophy, anyway.

As you can see, the stampede of animals has already been through here.

At this point I don't think I'd even be surprised if jungle vines start sprouting out of my baseboards and I saw an alligator floating its way through my living room.

I could get sucked into the game like that kid from the movie and I'd still end up somewhere cleaner than my own house.
