Fans Discovered A Connection Between 'Hocus Pocus' And 'Friends'

I love finding connections between all my favorite shows and movies. Reused sets, recycled props, even repurposed costumes — noticing this stuff makes me feel like a detective, and then I get to feel even smarter when I tell other people who hadn't noticed yet either!

Fans have just made a discovery connecting two of the most popular media franchises — Hocus Pocus and Friends!

Everyone knows *Hocus Pocus.*

It's pretty much required viewing in my household when it gets close to Halloween (or pretty much any time of the year, honestly), so when I found out there was a hidden detail in the movie I'd somehow not seen before, I was shocked.

It takes place during this scene.

The scene in question is when Max, Dani, Binx, and Allison are all frolicking in front of a fountain to celebrate a presumed victory over the evil Sanderson Sisters.

Does that fountain look familiar to you? It should if you watched, like, any television at all in the '90s.

It's the very same set as the iconic *Friends* intro.

Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that the buildings and the fountain behind the kids in Hocus Pocus were the same ones from the Friends intro.

Yes, Hocus Pocus takes place in Salem, and Friends takes place in NYC, but the fountain was actually part of The Warner Bros. Ranch.

Am I the only one imagining a crossover right now?

I think Phoebe would make a great addition to the Sanderson Sisters, and the gang's Halloween parties could definitely be livened up by a trio of delightful witches.
