It's also been a hard year for couples, as many people were forced to postpone their weddings or cancel them completely.

And, with many couples stuck in lockdown inside together, things got annoying real fast.

1. Cardi B and Offset

The pair's relationship has been messy since Offset was unfaithful to Cardi in 2019.

After many public apologies (including crashing her concerts), she eventually took him back. She explained why to Cosmopolitan in February 2018.

"I want to work out my [expletive] with my man, and I don’t got to explain why," she said.

But it looks like this breakup is for good, as Cardi recently filed for divorce on September 15.

She ultimately had to do what was right for her.

2. Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti

This breakup is fresh. The rapper couple announced their split this past weekend after two years of dating.

Hints of their breakup first appeared on Iggy's Instagram Story on Oct. 23 when she wrote, “People take loyalty for granted & that’s why I’d rather be alone.”

3. Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler

After dating for almost a decade, wishes of them making it down the aisle were sadly squashed when they split at the beginning of 2020.

This was reportedly due to long-distance and scheduling conflicts.
