'Sister Wives' Meri Brown Discusses 'Hard' Recent Months In Cryptic Instagram Post

Every relationship and marriage is bound to have its ups and downs, but that probably is multiplied the more people are involved. For Kody Brown and his four wives, best known for their reality show Sister Wives, that seems to be the case, as suggested by a cryptic Instagram post from Kody's first wife, Meri Brown.

*Sister Wives* has been a staple of reality television for 14 seasons.

The show follows polygamist Kody Brown and his four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn, as they raise their 18 children in Utah.

The show has been on the air since 2010 and the family has earned lots of fans over the decade they've been in the public eye.

Kody and Meri, his first wife, have been married since 1990.

Although their legal marriage was ended when Kody legally married his newest wife, Robyn, in 2010 in order to adopt her children she had in a previous marriage.

However, fans have been wondering if Meri and Kody may have more permanently split.

Fans noted that it has been almost a year since Meri shared a photo with Kody, and they also noticed she is no longer wearing her wedding ring in photos.

In an emotional Instagram post back in May, Meri had shared that "Whether with my business associates or in my personal life, I can't force anyone to be who they're not, feel how they don't feel, or meet me anywhere they're not willing or able to meet me."

"I can only control me and how I respond or react to any given situation," she said at the time.

"I make my own choices and I'm responsible for them. They say life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. My reactions aren't always the best, and that doesn't define me. But I'm still in the game. I haven't quit," she wrote.

In a new post, Meri has sparked even more discussion that the couple may have split.

Meri has just shared a cryptic post on her Instagram page.

"Sometimes days are hard. Sometimes months are hard. Sometimes you just gotta take a break. To breathe. To recharge. To refill your cup so you can give your best," Meri wrote. "The last couple months have been this for me."

"Some days I go to bed at 6 because I don't have the energy to function."

"Some days I'm up till midnight, or one, or two, because my mind won't stop racing. But I keep going, because that's what I do. Thats what I always do," Meri continued. "They say fall reminds us how beautiful it is to let things go. Sometimes letting things go is hard. But I can do hard things."

"I can do amazing things," Meri continued.

"I surround myself (as virtual as it must be right now) with my people. The people who see the best in me, the people who want the best for me, the people who support me."

"I'm grateful for my people. I'm grateful for my life."

"I'm grateful for love. I'm grateful for the abundance of positive energy flowing in and around and through me. This is how I live," Meri finished her post.

Fans flooded the comment section with messages of support for Meri.

"Great positive post, Meri. That's what we have to do...just keep swimming," one fan wrote.

"It’s called self care. Thank you for being so open and sharing this so others may feel they can take the time they need. Be well, be safe," another added.

Some fans shared their thoughts on Meri and Kody's relationship.

"I wish you well. I don’t judge your marriage. Yet I wish you had a man who loved you and only you Kody does not love you go find some happiness," one fan wrote.
