Get The Holiday Party Started With A Creamy And Boozy Gingerbread Martini

I have such a love hate relationship with gingerbread. Don't get me wrong, I love how it tastes, but whenever I heard the word 'gingerbread,' it's usually because my kids want to make a gingerbread house and that always ends in disaster.

But I recently discovered one way to enjoy both the taste and the word, and it came in the form of a boozy, creamy, and delightful gingerbread martini.

You heard me right: gingerbread flavor mixed with vodka and, well, sheer happiness.

These martinis are fun, flavorful, and festive. If you're looking for a great drink for the holiday season that will have you ready to slay the night away, then get ready to add this drink to your at-home cocktail menu immediately.

Oh, they'll have you walking in a winter wonderland in no time.

First and foremost you'll need some vodka — because all good things start with vodka. You'll need one ounce of it, to be specific.

Then you'll need two ounces of cream, one ounce of signature gingerbread syrup (which tastes as heavenly as it sounds), a half cup of ice, and four ounces of milk. See, you get calcium from this drink, so it's basically healthy.

Whatever you do, don't forget to put aside two gingerbread cookies to make this drink complete.

The best part may very well be the Baileys. Yeah, I said Baileys.

Rich and creamy are opeartive words when it comes to this drink, and we all know the best (and only) way to achieve that is with some Baileys Irish Cream.

Got lactose issues? No worries. There's a non-dairy Bailey Almande for you!

Similarly, you can substitute almond, soy, or coconut milk instead of cow's milk.

The rest is martini-making history. And if you're anything like me, you definitely know your way around a shaker.

These drinks are simple and straight to the point.

Pour all your ingredients into a martini shaker, add ice, and shake your adorable little butt off. That's what I call my daily cardio routine.

But here's the kicker: you'll want to grab those gingerbread cookies, crumble them up, and pour some gingerbread syrup on the crumbles. Then, you'll want to dip the rim of your class in and swirl it around so that it covers the surface. This way, with every sweet sip you'll also get some cookie goodness.

In case you were wondering, yes, this is my holiday gift to you.

When you share this drink and recipe with your loved ones, be sure to mention my name. That's Ms. Vodka, if you're boozy.

Honestly, all it takes is a (virtual) trip to Walmart or any major supermarket to assemble all these ingredients and slip into martini bliss.

Are you planning on mixing some of these up for yourself? Let us know in the comments. And if you're going to make any changes, be sure to tell us how they turn out.
