Woman Shares Genius Hack To Turn Dead Fall Mums Into Christmas Decor

Are you looking for an interesting and easy idea to make Christmas decor? I've got just the thing for you to consider. This one clever woman shared her genius trick on Facebook, and I think you are going to love it.

This hack is especially cool if you're a plant lover and want to do something unique and festive with your dead flowers.

Brittany Mitchell doesn't claim to have a green thumb. Not by a long shot, ha, ha!

I don't know about you, but I can definitely relate to that. I've killed many plants in my past, and I'm not ashamed to admit that.

So when her fall mums inevitably died, she looked for a simple solution to do something with them.

Finally, she thought of something, and I've got to say, I like it. Her idea is to turn your dead mums into festive outdoor Christmas decorations.

It is good news for people, like myself, who occasionally end up killing their plants.

Now we don't have to throw them away. Instead, they can be used as decor for two seasons. I'm going to tell you exactly what you need to do.

According to Mitchell, all you need to do is spray paint the dead mums and then decorate them with Christmas tree ornaments.

It couldn't be any easier. Am I right? Why didn't I think of this idea sooner? Ha, ha!

I think it's not only a great festive idea, but it's also a very cool way to make something old breathe new life again.

If only I had some mums hanging around so I could use this idea for my outdoor decor.

As it turns out, I'm not the only one who thinks this is a great idea.

After Mitchell posted about it on her Facebook page, people fell in love with the idea. Her post got 132,000 shares and about 18,000 comments.

Wow, isn't that impressive or what?

If only one of my ideas went viral like this, ha, ha! I would be one happy camper, and that's for sure. People regretted throwing out their dead mums and wished they could have done this with them instead.

It's so cool to see that such a simple idea could resonate with so many people.

Everybody is tagging their friends, loved ones, and neighbors and telling them about this. After all, it's way better than buying new Christmas decorations, no?

So what do you think of this solution for dead plants?

Are you into it? I think it's super festive, and you can do it year after year. The only thing you have to do is change up the tree decorations to make them look different next year.
