'Clifford' Fans Aren't Impressed After Watching First Live-Action Trailer

Look, I'm really not one to complain. I'm not picky about much — I like cheap wine, food, and clothes! However, what I really don't like is people messing with something I hold near and dear to my heart, like Clifford the Big Red Dog!

So when I saw the new trailer for the live-action Clifford movie, my body just kind of... REJECTED IT!

Chances are, you grew up with *Clifford the Big Red Dog* in one way, or another.

While many were first introduced to the adorable pup through the book series, many also discovered him (and Emily, of course) through the popular Clifford animated TV series!

Despite being around since the '60s, Clifford has never really had a makeover. Which is fair right? Why mess with a classic?

Well, Paramount Pictures has decided to be that guy and change up everything for their live-action version of Clifford!

Naturally, Twitter was very unsettled at the sight of CGI Clifford.

"Ruining my childhood with this [explective] lol smh. Kids nowadays will never understand," tweeted one fan.

"It looks like they just rolled it in ketchup chip dust," agreed another.

There's just something that isn't sitting well for me! It looks like it was made in 2004, not in 2020!

Maybe we're all just being biased because of our love of the OG, cartoon Clifford!
