Guy Fieri Has Raised Over $21 Million For Out-Of-Work Restaurant Staffers This Year

King of Flavortown Guy Fieri knows better than anyone how important restaurant staffers are to an amazing dining experience!

Now, more than ever, laid-off restaurant workers need help, which is why the 52-year-old has arranged for over $21 MILLION worth of funding for those most affected in the restaurant industry this year!

Forget the King of Flavortown, he's officially the king of good deeds!

Guy Fieri is best known for being one of the most successful chefs and TV presenters to come out of the Food Network.

Can you imagine a world without Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives?! Or Guy's Grocery Games?! Don't even get me started on my deep love affair with Guy's Ranch Kitchen.

I'm not proud of how big of a Guy Fieri fan I am, but the heart wants what it wants.

It's also easy to be jealous of Guy. His job is to literally travel across the country and eat the best food around!

Sorry, where was that program in college? I would love to be a professional food taster who gets to yell at a camera while speeding down the highway in my 1967 red Camero every day.

To be fair though, he has to be nice and chatty with strangers all day long, which is not something I would have the patience for.

Not only is he charismatic and fun on TV, he's actually pretty cool in real life, too! This is honestly such a relief because there's nothing worse than finding out your favorite TV host is a jerk in real life!

The 52-year-old has been one of the most prominent celebrities to give back during the devastation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As we know, the restaurant industry has been one of the hardest hit in 2020.

Chatting with TMZ back in May, the chef explained how he stepped up to help those in need.

Guy explained that when the pandemic first hit, he began thinking about his "brothers and sisters in the restaurant business." In partnership with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, Guy has launched the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund.

He explained that he sent personal video invitations to all heavy hitter brand CEOs (Coke, Pepsi, UberEats, etc.) and asked for donations.

Since March, Guy has been able to raise over $21.5 million for out-of-work restaurant staffers!

The fund has helped deliver grants of $500 each to more than 43,000 workers who have suffered financial hardships during the ongoing pandemic.

This kindness has not gone unnoticed by fans, who have taken to social media to praise the TV presenter.

If that wasn't enough to make your heart sing with praise for our favorite bleach blond, Guy will premiere a new documentary on Food Network called Restaurant Hustle 2020, which showcases the troubles restaurants have had to face this year.

He's also set to launch his delivery-only restaurant, Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen, in 200 cities around the country. SOUNDS YUMMY TO ME!
