Quotes For People Who Are Well Aware Of How Tired They Look, Thanks

It is both a blessing and a curse to work from home when you're struggling with your sleep habits.

On one hand, the fact that I can roll out of bed and open my laptop removes the whole morning routine of making myself presentable and commuting while still half-asleep.

On the other hand, it's just enabling bad habits.

When my sleep routine is on point, it is *fabulous*.

I fall asleep quickly, rest soundly the whole night, and then wake naturally at the perfect time without the need for an alarm.

Lately, that perfection has not happened nearly often enough.

It's probably due to stress, because, you know, 2020, but that doesn't make it less annoying.

My sleep struggles aren't even consistent. I can't just say I struggle with insomnia, because for every night that I toss and turn, there's another where I fall asleep on the couch at 7:30, then struggle to wake up the next morning too.

I get no sleep or *all of the sleep* without any rhyme or reason.

I've had to start putting my phone and other devices out of reach of the bed, because if I'm struggling to sleep, I will absently reach for it and skim Amazon or click buy now on sketchy Instagram ads.

Occasionally, I get something cool.

But most of the time, I end up with junk and an empty wallet.

Sigh.
